The President’s Award programme in the school aims at inspiring and empowering the youth to transform their lives, by pushing them to their personal limits and recognizing their achievements. The gold standard awardee is student who has successfully completed all the levels of the award. This entails adventurous journey, learning skills, community service and physical recreation. At the gold level the students are required to undertake a 5 day residential community service project.
The Presidents awards club in the school had the pleasure of presenting 38 students for the awards of the Gold Standard. The awards ceremony was presided over by the President of the republic of Kenya His Excellency, Uhuru Kenyatta. The auspicious occasion was held on the 20th of March 2019 at the State House.
